Armenia’s Emergency Situation’s Ministry’s Seismic Protection Service recorded magnitude-4.7 earthquake in Armenia, on Saturday, February 13 at 15:29 p.m. local time, 8 km southwest from capital Yerevan, and 10 km beneath the surface. According to MES, at the epicenter the quake measured magnitude 6-7. In capital Yerevan the quake measured magnitude 5-6, in Aragatsotn, Ararat, Shirak, Armavir, Vayots Dzor provinces magnitude earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred only 7 minutes ago 11 km south of Yerevan, Armenia, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported. The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 0 km beneath the epicenter near Yerevan, Armenia, early afternoon on Saturday 13 February 2021 at 3:29 pm local time.
