Kiryu & Majima Shimeji Showcase

An impromptu mini project I did earlier this year. Shimejis are desktop companions that you can interact with on your desktop. You may download them here: #dlc If you use them and post pictures of it online, it would be nice to credit me, thank you! DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE. Years back I was pretty intrigued by Shimejis and wanted to make some by myself. Never made a complete set until now though. Making Shimejis is quite tedious!! This time I even touched on some coding. I didn’t think I’d do that until I remembered that Majima’s design is asymmetrical and I had to add some extra code lines to prevent his eyepatch and hairline from mirroring (it’s a code to reflect another sprite when the character is facing the right side. So I had to make almost double the sprites for Majima where his eyepatch and hairline remains on the correct side when facing right. Without this code, the program will just mirror the original sprites and Majima’s eyepatch would end up on his right eye, etc. Oh man...) After some of that code dabbling, I discovered that I could do more things like modifying the time exposure of the sprites (because of that I kind of went a bit more apeshit on the animation lol).
