Landscape Digital Painting in Photoshop | Speedpainting + Photobashing | Environment Art

Sharing my landscape digital painting process for creating the March 2021 Square Lens painting, “Convergence“. In this landscape speedpainting, I’m using a mix of digital photobashing techniques here in Photoshop (with my wacom tablet), along with a fair amount of over-painting to get rid of the base photo-textures as much as I can (although I like a nice blend of the two), and just good ol’regular digital painting. I’m a huge fan of doing speedpaints, as it’s a fun and a great technique to get your ideas down, and get them down well. Digital methods obviously speed this up tremendously, and this is where photobashing comes into play.
