The Ukrainian word “потужнiсть” (“power”) and all its derivatives are particularly funny to the Russian ear, as these words strongly resemble the Russian verb “to push” in the pelvic sense of the word. Since Zelya really likes to say “power”, “powerful” (потужний), and “powerfully” (потужно), his speeches always have that unexpected bathroom twist when he’s supposed to be all serious.
