Morning Mist Vortex

June 18, 2015 - Lake Keowee, South Carolina A Delicate Devil was captured as it ghosted across Crooked Creek Cove on Lake Keowee (South Carolina) in the early morning mist. It was seen coming as it was about 40 feet tall and about 5 feet wide, really cool to witness. Reminiscent of Dust Devils, Delicate Devils sometimes form as the sun burns off the mist creating rotating eddies, lifting the mist into a spinning vortex.
