waiting - short animated film (FlipaClip)

This a short film about people that got a dog, but after it grew up, they never paid attention to him. Each day they would come back late from work and then close the doors behind them, so the dog would spend his life waiting for them to get back. For a long time now, I’ve been wanting to do a short animated film, but I wasn’t sure if I would be able to finish it once I would try to start, as I did a few times. At the same time, I wanted to try working on something more serious. I wanted to do something not too complicated first, to see if I would be capable of even finishing it, and the fact that I did made me feel like I am capable of doing something more complex. I am not specifically happy with the result, but I am very happy that I finished it. Soon it will be 9 months since I started working on this project, which was a lot more than I was expecting.
