Drawing a Lotus Flower

This was my first time using charcoal to draw; I learnt that drawing with charcoal is as much about the blending to achieve texture and lighting than it is about the drawing and shading itself. It took about an hour and a half, on and off. The music is ’With Rainy Eyes’ by Emancipator. No copyright infringement intended. Music is soley used for entertainment and leisure purposes.
