This time we’ve got our hands on six of the latest all-electric SUVs, and we’re going to run them from 100% to 0% to see how close they perform against their manufacturer’s claimed range. The recently revised Audi Q4 e-tron is the car with the lowest claimed range here - it has a useable battery capacity of 77kWh and a claimed range of 336 miles. Next up is the Kia EV6 - its battery has a usable capacity of 80Kwh, and it comes with 347 miles of range. The four following cars all have a much larger range - or so their manufacturers claim! The Polestar 4 has a useable battery capacity of 94kWh and a potential range of 372 miles, while the Tesla Model Y rolls up with a battery with a useable capacity of 75kWh, along with a range of 373 miles. The new Ford Explorer arrives with a useable battery capacity of 82kWh, and a claimed range of 374 miles. The car with the supposed longest range is the new Porsche Macan. This is powered by a battery with a usable capacity of 95kWh, which is apparently good for a range of 386 miles. So will any of these cars reach their claimed range? And more importantly, which will go the furthest?! You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself!
