Someone’s building autonomous assassins

The US is creating AI robots that can kill humans. But it’s all China’s fault, the New York Times reported. Everyone agrees that it’s wrong to make such things, but the Pentagon feels forced to make them because China won’t cooperate in a ban on such things. That’s what the paper says, but the truth is very different. The US has been campaigning in favor of killer robots for years. And China has been campaigning AGAINST THEM, sharing the view of the vast majority of the world’s people, that such things should be banned.
