Status Quo - Milton Keynes Bowl, End Of The Road Tour // 21st July 1984 (36th Anniversary)

In early 1984, Quo announced their farewell tour titled “The End Of The Road Tour“. The last date of the tour would see the band perform to a crowd of 50,000 members of the Quo Army at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Quo played a 2 1/2 - 3 hour set which was filmed and recorded. The gig was mixed and overdubbed whilst Quo were in the studio [Woldingham Surrey] on the 18th September 1984, whilst the footage was edited in October. A VHS / Laserdisc of the gig was released in November ’84 titled “End Of The Road, Farewell Concert“. It achieved Gold Sales Status and was the best selling music video.
