For the Studio Ghibli’s 25 years anniversary concert, at the Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan in 2008. Joe Hisaishi in Budokan (久石譲in武道館 : Hisaishi Jo in Budoukan) was a concert given on 4 and 5 (plus an added performance on 6) August 2008 at Tokyo’s Nippon Budoukan. Commemorating both the Japanese theatrical premiere of Ponyo and the 25 years of musical collaboration between composer Joe Hisaishi and film maker Hayao Miyazaki.
