Banded Chest To Bar Pull-Up (Strict & Kipping) Set-up: Loop band over bar with a girth hitch. Place one foot in band. Hands outside shoulder width. Abs, glutes, and quads tight. Legs together and straight. Strict Execution: Pull elbows down to initiate the pull. Keep eyes up and touch chest to bar. Arching the back a bit may help touch chest. Return under control. Kipping Execution: Swing forward and back from the shoulder. Press down on the bar in the backswing. Pull elbows back after the apex of backswing. Keep eyes up and touch chest to bar. Press away from the bar at the top. Return to forward swing.
