London to Rochester
M/S as a traditional horse drawn coach is seen making its way along a country road with people on top, drawn by white horses. It approaches round a bend. The people are in Victorian dress. They come into town and join a street parade and ambulance is seen. C/U of three men, in costume, one bald, wearing white britches. They carry top hats and the crowd welcome the carriage and the travellers wave. A woman, in a nurses outfit and a man, probably a landlord, bring a tray of drinks. M/S ’Mr. Pickwick’ shaking hands with the mayor who carries a sceptre.
Note: Great reconstruction with authentic looking costumes and coach.
