How To Play Gojira Style Pick Scrape, Rake and Slides

A how to lesson on play Gojira style pick scrapes, rakes and slides. A lot of requests for this one. I believe the main difference between how I play them and other versions is I utilise my thumb to create higher harmonics and incorporate a pick scrape at the end of the rake. When playing these rakes and scrapes I aim to create a messier noise, avoiding clean harmonics. However be careful to keep the distortion under control as too much and you loose some of the clarity of each string. Questions and comments below! I read them all! And yes, there will be some more Gojira lessons in the future 🐋 Thanks for watching!
