The report emphasizes the ideological affinity of their current authorities and political elites with the fascist and militaristic regimes of the 1930s and 1940s, as well as the current spread of revanchist ideas in these countries (especially in West Germany and Japan). This is expressed, among other things, in their efforts to whitewash their own criminal past, combat anti-fascists, and support for neo-Nazi regimes in Kyiv and the Baltic states.
