According to Eddie Hearn, WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol may choose to wait for his rematch with Canelo Alvarez later this year if the right deal comes along. Bivol was initially scheduled to fight on June 17th against an opponent yet to be determined, but with that date fast approaching and no opponent confirmed, he could potentially delay his fight until September to face Canelo. Hearn had hoped to arrange a match between Bivol and #1 WBA Joshua Buatsi, but Buatsi declined the fight. As a result, Bivol has been patiently waiting and training, but he is reportedly frustrated with Canelo’s repeated delays in scheduling their rematch. Canelo was initially slated to fight Bivol in a rematch last September, but he chose to fight Gennadiy Golovkin instead. Currently, Canelo is schedu
