Arvo Pärt - Stabat Mater for Mixed Chorus and Orchestra (2008)

Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin (Hans-Christoph Rademann) / Kristjan Järvi. Revisited work of the original «Stabat Mater» composed by Pärt in 1985. Composed in Pärt’s characteristic tintinnabuli hypnotic style –with its arpeggiations of a major or minor triad combined with ascending or descending diatonic scales–, this Stabat Mater is one of the best compositions of the Estonian genius.
