Globalists today try to suggest that we need to do away with national laws and sovereignty put in a universal law over the whole world controlled by a few elite men and women. If their plans are adopted they say, society will arrive at a higher state. Wars will cease, the economy will improve, jobs will be created, the political order will be stabilized, wealth will be created and evenly distributed, etc. Just like Lucifer in heaven, the globalists suggest that they are not seeking their own interests, but they are seeking the good of all society.
