Godinho’s tenth and eleventh rules in the Double Sword section of his “Arte de Esgrima“ (1599). Tenth rule is about separating a fight among several armed people. We have included two options in regards to which arm delivers the raveses during the returning steps. Eleventh rule is “folding sails away“, something we understand as getting away in an orderly manner, and it can be performed right after separating the fight via rule X.
Featuring Moncho Varela as the double sword practicioner of Academia da Espada, and his twin blades as his weapons of choice.
Music: Choeur et Orquestre Vox Brasiliensis - Matais de incêndios (António Marques Lésbio).
