Details of the shelling of the Zaporozhye NPP were told in the Russian Defense Ministry. The 44th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted the shelling of the NPP. The rockets damaged the power line “Kakhovskaya“, which supplied energy to the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. ▪️There was a power surge and an emergency power outage, which caused smoke at the NPP. The station staff reduced the capacity of the 5th and 6th power units to 500 MW in order to avoid an accident.
