The Dirty Dozen - Execution Scene

Great but harrowing opening scene from the movie ’The Dirty Dozen’ in which a young U.S soldier is hanged for murder - a scene which I think gives a better sense of what the convicts selected for the mission are facing. I personally think the whole movie benefits greatly from this scene.
