Iggor Cavalera featuring the Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3

Producer, musician and drummer Iggor Cavalera, widely known as the co-founder and original drummer in the Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura, demos the Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3 at his home in London. He talks about the influence Sunn O))) had on him and his liking to the massive sounds they create. “I’m a huge fan of Sunn O))) and their sounds, so to have something that emulates that sound, especially with all the sonic ideas that they put through drones and guitar sounds is amazing. I add that not to guitars, but to synths,” Iggor says. Iggor runs his synth through the Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3, Astral Destiny, and Organizer, also incorporating his modular rig to create experimental sounds that blur the lines between synth and guitar drones. His experimentation with pedals goes back to the 90s, when he ran drum beats through distortion and delay pedals, and created different results that evolved and expanded his sound.
