Rescue of Stranded Dolphin, Feeny

On September 17, 2015, Clearwater Marine Aquarium responded with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to a stranded dolphin in Cockroach Bay. The call was made to FWC by a few local fisherman, who noticed the 260 pound dolphin lying on its side during low tide. The dolphin was nicknamed “Feeny”, after the character from the television series, Boy Meets World. After assessment by CMA staff, it was clear that Feeny needed as the CMA team helps Feeny on his journey to Mote Marine Labor
