Lizhnyk – is a Ukrainian blanket made of 100% natural sheep wool. Lizhnyk is the unique blanket, invented by hutsul people that live in regions of Carpathian Mountains. Contemporary masters of the blankets inherited knowledge and skills of this craft from their ancestors. Ruslana, woman from our video, is a contemporary master that learnt from her mother and grandmother. She showed us the key processes of blankets production. The hutsul masters also invented patterns.
