HOW TO WINDING STRING ON THE TRIMMER HEAD #shorts

Winding string on a trimmer head is a simple process, but it can be a bit tricky if you’re not familiar with the steps. To start, you’ll need to purchase the correct type of trimmer line for your trimmer head, as different models require different types of string. Once you have the right trimmer line, remove the cap from the trimmer head and locate the spool inside. Unwind any old string that is still on the spool, and clean out any debris or grass clippings that may have accumulated inside. Next, cut a length of trimmer line that is appropriate for your trimmer head. Most trimmer heads require around 10-15 feet of line. Look for the line-feeding arrows on the spool, and follow them to determine which direction to wind the line. Insert the end of the line into the hole on the spool, and begin winding it in the direction indicated by the arrows. Be sure to wind the line tightly and evenly, and keep it as level as possible on the spool to prevent tangles. Once you have wound the line around the spool, leave a few inches of line free and tuck them into the notches on the spool. Then, replace the cap on the trimmer head and tighten it securely. With the new line in place, your trimmer is ready to tackle your yard work with ease. Be sure to keep extra trimmer line on hand, as it can wear down quickly when in use, and may need to be replaced frequently.
