After my last song, set in a very cold location, I figured we’d heat things up a bit. This original song of mine, also a seashore song, featuring a much hotter location than last month’s tropical beach songs, is meant to both evoke the effects of the hot desert and the location of the Dead Sea, but also be fitting for the hottest month of the year. This is also the first desert seashore song I have made and released. That alone makes it a quite unique composition of mine. Hopefully this song not only evokes the hot, dry heat of the Dead Sea, but you also get to learn some things about the location through the music video, which is pretty damn educational I think. I did some research on this region and I hope the piece I created captures the feel of it, I also tried to go for genuinely Arabic sounding desert music and not just something like you’d hear in a video game, so it sounds a lot less “Egyptian“ because it’s not Egypt that it’s set in.
