Enough! This Gaza Bloodbath Must Immediately Be Stopped, Ground Invasion Mustn’t Happen—Gideon Levy

One of the boldest and bravest voices in Israel has spoken out in stark and strong terms demanding an immediate end to the continuing Israeli airstrikes over Gaza and adding that the allegedly imminent ground invasion must not happen at all cost. Gideon Levy also says that Israel and the world must accept that the idea of a two-state solution is dead and impossible to revive. Instead, he says the only feasible solution is a one-state solution where Israelis and Arabs, Jews and Muslims have equal rights. Although neither politicians nor public opinion in Israel are ready to accept this, Mr. Levy says they have to come around to realize, no doubt with time, that this is the only solution. He also says that Israel’s Western friends, particularly America, must start pushing them in this direction.
