The name of the 17th century is given by the name of the Myasnitskaya settlement, where there were butcher shops and butchers’ houses. Under Peter the Great, the street received the status of a royal road. According to the status of the street, there was also a population – the highest nobility. The street has witnessed state-scale events more than once, such as victory celebrations or coronation celebrations. On the plan of Moscow at the end of the 18th century, the main part of the building was wooden. In the fire of 1812, all the wooden houses burned down. In 1813, the street was expanded and built up with new stone houses. At the end of the street there is the famous Perlov tea shop in Chinese-style. При Петре Первом улица получила статус царской дороги. Соответственно статусу улицы было и население – высшая знать. Улица не раз была свидетельницей событий государственного масштаба, таких как победные торжества или коронационные празднества. На плане Москвы конца 18 века основная часть застройки была деревянной. При пожаре 1812 года все деревянные дома сгорели. В 1813 году улица была расширена и была застроена новыми каменными домами.
