Steam Launches Arlette and Mosquito speeding about on Lake Windermere

A bit of video of us on Arlette and together with Mosquito playing about on Lake Windermere during an informal rally in May 2012. Arlette is a 31ft long recreation of a Victorian small steam launch, fitted with an 1870’s design Thornycroft 9hp single cylinder steam engine and loco type boiler. Mosquito is a 46ft long recreation of a Edwardian fast launch, with compound engine and yarrow type boiler.
