Embers - Lamb of God - Guitar Cover and Tabs

Back with a cover, this time Lamb of God and Embers from the album Sturm und Drang. Tuning - Drop D D-A-D-G-B-e Some tricky parts to this one! There’s a lot of tremolo and the melodic runs in the verses can be hard to nail down. Start out playing them legato to get the fretting hand movements in your muscle memory then work towards picking the rest. I do a hammer on for the first two notes then alternate pick the rest. Once you hit the second chorus it’s pretty plain sailing as the arpeggio section isn’t too tricky! Also testing out some Acoustic Attak, Attak piks. Using the Stealth 2 on this one. It definitely gave a slightly more percussive sound which you can hear most in the verses. More LoG covers to come! Recording/mixing - all me, spent a bit more time on the mix/tones/layers etc on this one and think it’s turned out pretty well on the whole. Programmed drums still sound a bit programmed sadly.
