Last of the Mohicans - Quenacho (flute by Geoffrey Ellis)

Hi! My name is Ashley. Welcome to my channel. Today I am introducing Geoffrey Ellis’ new maple quenacho, and oh my GOSH! Like Geoffrey’s quena in G, I love how it’s just so easy to play in tune. I don’t have to push nearly as hard to bring that second octave up to pitch, so it allows me to play more musically over the full range of the instrument. I figured this melody from “Last of the Mohicans” would be a wonderful showcase for the quenacho because 1. it’s a lovely melody and 2. you can listen to almost the full range of the instrument aka both octaves. 😉🎶 Please enjoy my rendition of the melody from Last of the Mohicans and as always, thank you for listening!
