Today Russia has claimed that France is preparing to deploy over 2,000 soldiers to Ukraine and threatened to make them a “priority target“ if they are indeed deployed. This comes after France made public statements expressing a strong interest in sending troops to assist Ukraine. We are also learning the Russia has appointed a new commander of the Russian Navy which has now taken command of the forces.
