Magic with rope and Etta James: Shawn Farquhar

This is a live performance of my handling of Pavel’s rope routine. Pavel won an award for invention at FISM and I was fortunate enough to meet Pavel in 2006 at the FISM where we spent sometime together and shared a few ideas and discussed the handling of his magnificent effect. The music is written by Mack Gordon and Henry Warren and the vocals are Etta James. It was recorded in 1961 by Chess Records.
