Paper Lives (Kagittan Hayatlar) - Netflix Review

The Turkish Netflix Film Paper Lives (Kagittan Hayatlar) follows Mehmet, a man who runs a solid waste warehouse in an impoverished neighborhood in Istanbul. He’s cherished in the community, due to his work providing help to homeless children and teens. Everything takes a turn when he meets an 8-year-old boy who was hidden in a waste sack. His initial desire to return the boy to his parents is soon affected as finds himself becoming attached to the child.
