A song of unfulfilled love in two timelines: Kovu = young Scar, Kiara = young Sarabi, Simba = young Mufasa Scar always loved Sarabi. But she decided on Mufasa which drove him crazy even when he was young. His envy and hate made of him what he is: A murderer, though he afterwards regreted what he had done. He even feels sorry for Simba in the end. But in his eyes he can see the truth and must realize that Sarabi will never be his, but always Mufasa’s beloved. The song is “Bittersweet“ by Apocalyptica.
