First song on the amazing album Garlands by Cocteau Twins, with a fully remastered audio done by myself and with lyrics added. I have gathered lyrics from sources and tried to place them to what I see as most accurate. It’s an amazing song and one of my favorites from them. Very different from what they ended up sounding like, but I do enjoy the brooding darkness of the album and track. So what do you think the track is about? My guess is that it is about Queen Mary I.
