Kakapo

Kakapo Kakapos, also called owl parrots, is a species of large, flightless, nocturnal, ground-dwelling parrot, native to New Zealand. There are currently only 211 adults kakapos that all live in predator free islands under the Kakapo Recovery Programme. Read more about them here!
