️The FSB reported the detention of Ukrainian military intelligence officers who attempted to enter Russia from Lithuanian territory. At first, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine tasked its employees with collecting information about the security of the border in order to send agents and commit crimes in Russia. Having collected the necessary data, Ukrainian spies tried to cross the border, but they were caught. An additional objective of the operation was the kidnapping of a child whose father is a Ukrainian intelligence officer. A case of espionage was opened, and the defendants were placed under arrest.
