Hiking with a Pack Wheel, Lightweight Single Wheel Collapsible Cart

This shows the Pack Wheel™ hiking on various single track trails. There are segments of the Pack Wheel going up and down trails, on narrow and wide sections of trail, and going over and around various obstacles in the trail. This Pack Wheel cart weighs 8 3/4 pounds. It has a 160mm disk brake and is amazingly easy to balance and hike with along trails. The Pack Wheel is very nimble and easy to maneuver along a hiking trail. On this trip out on the mountain the Pack Wheel is carrying 68 pounds of camping gear. It is carrying two Novara bicycle panniers, a sleeping bag, Therma Rest and a GoPro camera. Even with the weight the Pack Wheel made it feel like there wasn’t any weight at all as it just moved up and down the trials like a dream. With the Pack Wheel you can save your back from carrying all that heavy weight that you would backpacking and still be just as mobile on the trials you take hiking. The cart can also be used to carry a backpack or be collapsed and be strapped to a backpack and carried across a river, boulder field or other impassable obstacle.
