Know Before You Go

Know Before You Go is an independently produced public service announcement and awareness campaign which hopes to draw attention to the fact that almost 80 countries in the world have laws criminalizing homosexuality. It is based on an actual event where two men were arrested in a restaurant for ordering coffee with Bailey’s Irish Cream. The crime? This made them “seem“ gay. One of them served 1 1/2 years in prison for this. I did not want to single out any one country or culture as being proponents of
