TNO - First Lunar War Outcomes - Custom Superevents

The first lunar war broke out on February 15, 1987, at the height of World War III. At first, the lunar colonies of the major powers tried to remain peaceful relations with one another, but everything went to hell after the Japanese colonists at the base of Shin-Hokkaido attempted a surprise attack on the American settlers at Tranquility base. The Americans, not expecting this attack, were forced to retreat. They were able to break into emergency weapons caches, however, with 30 M16 rifles packed away in storage since the establishment of the colony. They used these to drive the Japanese back to their base, but were met with gunfire and retreated back to Tranquility. During this time, the Japanese got in touch with the Germans and got them to help with their efforts. During this, the Americans were able to contact the Russians, who were able to intercept the German force sent to counterattack the Americans. Japan heard about this and regrouped back at their base.
