Various shots of an ice skating speed race in progress. In the 1000 metres event between Valentina Stenina and Eve Ivanova, Stenina wins. In the 3000 metres event Inga Artomonva and Vornina win, but Stenina has a bigger sum total for the four events and becomes national champion. Shot of the three winners posing for camera.
