Protesters storm Japanese embassy in Seoul over plan to release Fukushima wastewater

Japan began releasing radioactive water containing tritium from the Fukushima nuclear power plant into the Pacific Ocean on Thursday, prompting anger from neighbouring countries. Shortly after engineers began the procedure to release the treated water at 1pm local time, the Chinese government imposed a complete ban on all seafood imports from Japan.
