Extinction - Environment-Disbalance-Syndrom & Vulgar Dances (1997) Death / Thrash Metal Kostroma, Russia The band was founded in 1991 under the name Crossover playing thrash metal with Russian lyrics. A year later, in 1992, the name changes to Extinction, the music style to death metal, and lyrics become written in English. Extinction makes 3 demos and 1 full-length album from 1993 to 1997 and disbands in 1999. After two decades the band revives and releases “Fatality“ EP, which included five old re-recorded tracks. In 2021, the band releases “Anthology“ compilation of their whole 1993-97 material.
