Dialogue system | Step into the Abyss

We’ve been thinking, and we realized that we’ve been showing you a lot of screenshots but very few video demonstrations of what we’re working on. Today, we want to correct this oversight and, following up on our previous demonstration of the dialogue system interface, show it to you in full on video. This is just a small, insignificant snippet of one of the many dialogues you’ll encounter in the game. Today, besides the usual updates on what we’re working on and what we’re ready to show, we’d like to share with you a bit more openly. Step into the Abyss is the first game for our team and our first experience in developing a complete and finished game, which is why we’ve had to delay the release a few times and decided to rework some aspects that seemed like great solutions on paper.
