Soaring Together: Unleashing the Future of Urban Air Mobility in Partnership with Hefei

We are glad to announce that EHang has entered into a strategic cooperation with the Hefei Municipal Government for the joint development of a low-altitude economy ecosystem in Hefei City! The Hefei Municipal Government intends to provide EHang support in the form of coordinating or facilitating purchase orders, for no less than 100 units of the EH216 series UAVs, and financing support, amounting to a total of US$100 million. The specific timing, amount and type of support will be subject to additional definitive agreement. EHang will also participate in Hefei’s Full-Space Unmanned System Integrated Application Demonstration Project and launch regular operations with UAVs in Luogang Central Park in Hefei. This park is set to become the world’s premier UAM super aerohub. This collaboration marks another breakthrough after our achievement of obtaining the world’s first eVTOL Type Certificate for the EH216-S passenger-carrying UAV. Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province, is playing a pivotal role in the establishment of a thriving low-altitude industrial cluster. Moreover, Anhui serves as a pilot region for the national reform in managing low-altitude airspace. By leveraging the strategic advantages offered by Anhui Province and Hefei City, EHang plans to methodically commence commercial operations with the EH216-S.
