Blender to Substance Painter Texturing Tutorial : Stylized Wood
In this tutorial I UV Unwrap a low poly Blender model, the handle of the Axe Sculpting and then export both models, the retopo mesh and the high poly sculpt.
After that I import the low poly handle into substance painter and then bake the mesh maps by using the highpoly mesh in he high defintion meshes.
Then the texturing starts. I add 3 materials with different brown tones to add color variation to achieve a stylized look and feel for the wood handle.
