SOUTH BOUND SAUREZ * DRUM COVER *

Very cool, original beat that Bonzo came up with here which has a similarity to Whole Lotta Love, but quicker. Once again, its a beat which has a New Orleans flavor to it. This tune is open to interpretation IMO. The beat sounds like he may have played it with 8th notes on the hi-hat , then overdubbed 16th notes, but its really hard to tell. At times the 16th note pattern sounds louder. I played it with 16th ’s on the hat which is harder to do but I think it sounds more correct with the track as a play along. I considered doing a version with 8th notes too, just to compare. The 16th’s all the way through are a workout for the right hand! I also hear a fair amount of ghosting on this beat especially when the band drops out at around 3:27, but again its too hard to hear clearly what he was playing.
