That was far from the case, his name loathed and crimes denounced. Yet those who came into power following the violent 2014 coup rename streets after him, organize processions in his honor, teach false historic narratives to kids in school, glorifying Nazism and banderovites. Together with his followers, Bandera collaborated with the Nazis and was responsible for the genocide of Polish and Jewish civilians during WWII. The documentary explains why Bandera’s atrocities are disregarded in modern Ukraine.
