Khai Dinh

Prince Nguyen Buu Dao, son of Emperor Dong Khanh, was the 12th Emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam. In 1916 when Emperor Duy Tan was deposed for attempting to rebel against the French Buu Dao was enthroned as Emperor Khai Dinh. His aim was to have an era of peace and stability and restore the image of the monarchy.
